Good Morning ladies and it’s Monday already just don’t know where the time went this week, I’m onto my final exam now, well the research part for it and I have looked at the questions about a million times agggggggg it’s going to take a lot of my time up but it will be worth it in the end, if I ever get to the end without getting too frazzled lol.

Frazzled or not I will still be coming round to visit you all and see what you have been up to, I call it my time, after trying to understand systems and making sense of complexity, yep sound totally boring I know but its quiet interesting when you get into it lol.
Now enough of that stuff as I am saving it for later!!! lol ok ok only kidding.

Onto the challenge for Cute Daisy May and the theme this week is a Thank You a card or any other item you wish to make.I decorated a bag for my friend to put a little pressie in just to say thank you to her for being there for me when I need her and I used sheet 81 of the Daisy May Images, which you can find here and the recipe below:
Coloured – Copic
Paper - Bo Bunny
Bling – Kaban
Sentiment – Computer
Ribbons - Bo Bunny
Bag – Craft Shop here
Border and Corner Punch – EK
Glitter – Stickles
Close up of Daisy and verse.
I have entered this into Allsorts Challenge and their theme is anything digital ~ so digital images, digital stamps, computer generated sentiments.

So what are you waiting for? Come and play, each week the ransom picky thing will select a winner who can choose a download of their choice. You don't have to have a Cute Daisy May to play but its nice if you do. Email entries to cutedaisymay@gmail.com
I would like to introduce you to three talented ladies who have joined the Daisy design team for 3 months, they are Max, Katie and Beccy, welcome ladies.

ABC Challenge, Whiff of Joy,Doodle Palace and present for a friend.

Good Morning ladies I hope your all crafting away like little beavers :-)
Well what a day it was yesterday I’m sat happily studying away with some light classical music on for inspiration, which I need at the moment, and DH rings and says I forgot to tell you we have been invited to a Birthday party (my friend came back from Cyprus early and her partner is holding a surprise party for her) could you repeat that?!!!! plus other things I said, one of them being I have nothing to wear! DH also said can you get a present and make a card for 7’o clock, err could you repeat that too?! are all men like this or I am lucky and got the only one lol.

So off I go to find some paper in her favourite colours and made this card, now to the present and no time to go shopping, idea pops into my head I have some of her favourite chocolates in the fridge (luckily we both like the same ones) so I made her this box and filled it with the scrummy chocolates oh I ate a few as well lol.

The inside flowers I cut from the ribbon.

Now what to wear! then I remember buying a new outfit last week hehhehehe, so out I come all ready to go and DH says you look lovely (he’s looking for brownie points now after this mornings fiasco) OHHH with fingers crossed, I say this old thing I have had it for ages, well it has been in the wardrobe for a week, so it’s old now lol.
How lucky am I, as this week ABC challenge blog is looking for circles on your creations and my paper and box has circles on them so I shall enter it into their challenge.
Also another challenge blog Doodle Palace to use pastels and daisies and they are pastels and their is a few daisy on the paper.
Whiff of Joy with bling which I put in the center of the flowers and some on the paper flowers and on the inside.
Recipe
Coloured – Copic
Image – Whiff of Joy
Paper and Flowers - Bo Bunny
Nesstie – large Circle and Crimped Circle
Bling – Kaban
Sentiment – Computer
Ribbon and Pin – Stash
Bling - Kaban
Leafs – Boss Cut
The turquoise ribbon is from the craft shop here and I cut some of the flowers out for the card too.

Thank for popping by and listening to me rambling on and have a good day all, I shall be round later to see you all.

Anya, Die Cut Dreams and Pink Elephant

Good Afternoon ladies, I took a break from studying for a couple of hours this morning and made this card for some challenges, I used the sketch by Pink Elephant which I loved and shall use this sketch again and the following themes of Hearts and Flowers for Die Cut Dreams, I have wanted to use this heart paper for ages but never got round to it, so this was the perfect opportunity.
Sugar and Spice & All Things Nice for Anyone for Anya, I think the sugary papers are perfect for this too.

I coloured her with Copic as you can see I am still working on getting my shading right but I will get there in the end, as I will not be defeated, sometimes it’s good and sometimes not so good, but I am quiet pleased with this.
The inside is just kept quiet plain with the addition of flowers for contrast.

The papers, ribbon, brads and green flowers are Bo Bunny, the other flowers prima, spacer a raking from the talented Linda thank you and the sentiments inside and out are computer generated, leaves are Boss cut and the pin is from my stash and that’s it.

I do appreciate you popping by my place and taking the time to comment on my work.
Thank you very much.

Award from Roberta

This really cheered me up a little tonight when I received this from Roberta so thank you.

I have not been blogging this week as I have had a bit of distressing news from home and to tell you the truth I really did not feel like it, I tried to colour some images but they came out all wrong so I threw them in the bin, but luckly I have already got my DT cards done.

You are suppose to link it to the person who gave it to you in your post and pass it on to seven other bloggers who inspire you and here is my inspiration list.

Have a good week all and I shall be round to see you.

Cards for a good cause.

Jess over at Jess’s Scrapbook Assortment is holding a candy with a difference a bit about Jess below

I am volunteer for my husbands brigades Care Team. In the event of a tragedy I may be called on to give support to a spouse. I had an idea of making sympathy cards to give to the spouses. Cards are given to them, but I feel handmade cards would seem more personal, then something from a store shelf. How does this tie in with blog candy you ask? I'd love to tell you! To enter this challenge you must mail your card to me. By doing so you understand it could be used to comfort a military spouse in the event of a tragedy. It also means you have the chance to win one of three blog candy giveaways!

These women are sending their husbands off, at the end of August, knowing they might never return. Let's send some cards to Jess just in case, god forbid, those husbands do not return.

Jess's husband is also one of the ones leaving.
Pop over and give her some support

Die Cut Dreams

Hi all

Very quiet day here today and was thinking I need to make a card while hubby is quiet lol so searching through my images I came across this fashion image I won from Susie in her blog candy, by the way Susie is also holding another blog candy so why not pop over and check out her beautifull blog and enter.
I used this image for a challenge at Die Cut Dreams challenge blog and this weeks theme is fashion frenzy and coloured her with Copic.

The papers are Wild Raspberry from K and Co and I matted them all up with the image, using 3 D dots to raise it and I used my EK punch for the border and corners

The flowers are from a little shop here as are the pearls and pearl pin. I used a Shakura gel Pen on the leaf’s and on her bag, shoes, flowers and the edge of her dress. The sentiment is done on the computer and finished off with a pearl, matted and raised with 3D dots.

I just wish I had a figure and legs like that, isn’t she stunning and love the dress.

Thanks for popping by my place and have a great day everyone and I shall be round later to see you all.

Cute Daisy May, Pile It On and Secret Crafters

Good Morning all and good news for me, a couple of days ago I had my exam result back and I have passed with a very good results so I am well pleased and it has given me the incentive to get on with my next one agggg only 10 days to finish it and I am still at the research stage.

But I did take time out to meet my friend Linda (who also makes cards) yesterday at the tea shop, and you just have to indulge don’t you and we did, plus we had a good crafty chat and an added bonus of a little spend in the craft shop, lethal going for tea and cakes as I always have to have a little spend lol.

Onto my DT spot at Cute Daisy May and the theme this week is Christmas, ok it’s a little early but I did enjoy making this one, as I love Christmas.

I used the sketch from Secret Crafter Challenge and I loved doing this sketch and also the theme from Pile it On which is to use three or more flowers on your project.

I used sheet 30, you can find the images of Daisy and her accessories here, plus a free download image.

Papers and Ribbon - Trimcraft
Glitter – Stickles
Flowers – Download which I trimmed round and inked the edges.
Nessties – Labels 4
Sentiment – Bo Bunny

The sentiment on the inside I used a stamp but I am afraid it had no name on it, so I have no idea who made it and I added poinsettias.

Thanks for popping by my place again I do appreciate it and I will be back later to catch up with you.

Hugs
